Let me start by telling you who I am NOT. I am NOT Kim Kardashian. I do not have millions of followers nor do I break the internet with one picture. I am not Beyonce although I have often been reminded we have the same amount of hours in the day (yet she maximizes hers in ways I doubt I ever will be able to). I am not one of Forbes Most Influential Women who have all the answers to everything.

Now we can get to who I AM. It's simple. I am a new wife who has survived two years of marriage. I am a first time mother. I am a full time worker. I am one of millions of women constantly trying to figure out how to balance blending numerous roles gracefully although the reality is I generally don't.

I am an overly analytical, blunt, counseling degree holder who spends endless hours (that I do not have) searching the internet and reading books to enhance my daily decisions so that I can make good choices that will give me a better balanced life that will in turn give my son the best life and a brighter future. My current goals involve paying off debt, learning about investing so that I can use that for building my son's college fund, buying a house, and traveling more while spending less money with my hubby. I am a lover of reality t.v., Sex and the City, cooking,easy do it yourself projects, and women who push boundaries. I value tradition while challenging it at the same time.

I am not a fashionista. This blog will not be the place that you learn spring's hottest trends or best makeup tips for your complexion. This blog IS a place where I share my experiences as I navigate life in hopes of saving you time. You do not have to dig through endless information to learn the pros and cons of breastfeeding or how to travel on a budget or how to grow your natural hair! I will happily do it for you! If Walgreens is the corner of happy and healthy then I consider Dee OMG! The intersection of where life meets real. Because every post here is real life as experienced by me.
